“I’m full of admiration for our assemblers”

Our assemblers are now equipped with computers and scanners, providing real-time access to order information directly from the delivery plan. The integrated NovaCura Flow application speeds up transaction processes across the company. For assemblers, it’s as simple as following the work orders, clicking into the next operation to access material lists, drawings, assembly instructions, and more.

All materials in the production lines and warehouse are labeled with barcodes, which are scanned when picked from the shelf. The system immediately verifies the correct materials, while any discrepancies are reported in real time to our order construction and development teams.

“This streamlines our assembly process, improves visibility, and enhances inventory control and procurement,” says Peter Andersson, Production Manager at KL Industri. “With everything logged and tracked, we can now analyze statistics and focus on the right actions to improve the entire workflow.”

Peter is convinced that the new system has already boosted engagement and given each assembler a greater sense of ownership over their workspace.

“I’m full of admiration for how well our assemblers have embraced M3 and NovaCura Flow. I haven’t heard a single negative comment about the system,” he says.

One of the satisfied team members is assembler Moa Mungsgård:

“It’s smooth, and I can quickly find the entire order list directly in the scanner. It’s great not having to keep track of so many paper documents anymore,” says Moa.

Ultimately, the new business system strengthens delivery precision and product quality.

“We’ve also received positive feedback from our customers, who are visiting us again now that restrictions have eased. They see how this ultimately benefits them by ensuring a better end product,” concludes Peter Andersson.
